This man recently passed away. Loved his friendly smile, the twinkle in his eye and the cute suspenders he always wore. He always seemed so happy. I didn’t even know him that well. I do remember when my kids were small he would ride his scooter down the street and hand out beautifully crafted flower pens. Our kids thought that was pretty awesome. When we had a bake sale / lemonade stand, he came over to support them. After he tasted the brownies, he kept returning for probably a 1/2 dozen more. ( he was diabetic and kept saying he really shouldn’t) it’s such a blessing to get to know people and love them. I’m sure their family will miss him dearly but are so grateful he doesn’t have to suffer any longer. Time goes by so quickly!
