Spring Break - Day 3 - Sunday - Temple tour

When Traveling on Sunday, it's always a little tricky knowing just what to do, where to attend church etc... Ryan had a Great Idea (he usually does) We decided it would be fun to find a ward and visit 4 temples during the day...We didn't realize we would be spending so much time at each place.  We ended up making it to just 2 temples and to the Mormon Batallion Site in San Diego.
We started the day attending church....Trina and I loved attending this wards Relief Society!  To begin, they passed around two big pans of hersheys chocolates as if they did that every Sunday...Then, when they broke into groups during the lesson, the teacher pulled out 6 big boxes of Sees chocolates to share with everyone...now the chocolates had nothing to do with the lesson but everyone seemed to enjoy them...We got a good laugh and the guys were really jealous...they aparently had a very different experience....you could ask them about their lesson:)
Our next destination was the Newport Beach Temple..our kids really needed to burn some energy...It was perfect.

Here's a cute picture of Ren and Trina...We enjoyed their company!  It was good getting to know them a little better.  They're a great couple! (and towards the end of the trip, they began referring to our children as their own) Like I said, A Great Couple!

Our next destinations was the SanDiego Temple...one of the most beautiful temples...in my opinion...

and like I said before...the kids really needed to burn some energy...and we let them...

and our last destination before heading back to the hotel was the Mormon Batallion...I loved that it was open on Sunday!  It was fun to visit witht he missionaries and learn a little more about it...I loved all the hands on activities, the videos, panning for gold etc...I was glad some friends let us in on this fun site!
