The Last few weeks of December

The Tuesday before Christmas, we got tons of snow...It seemed like it took us hours to shovel...it was so much fun and the boys didn't mind...

We saw a whole lot of this around our house on Tuesday...

On Tuesday night, despite the storm, we headed to Salt Lake for a little trip.  Ryan had a few appointments so we decided last minute to go.  Thankfully, we made it...and Our hotel had a great view of the temple....
We have just about out grown the double beds...so we get to make our own beds...

On Wednesday, Ryan had an appointment so while he worked, the kids and I swam....We got a few hours in.  When we got back to our room, dripping, Ryan texted me that his Thursday appointment was canceled and that we should probably just check out and head home.  So we hustled and checked out.  We then met up with Michelle for lunch.  I really wanted to go to temple square and since the weather was a little unpredictable, we decided to stay with Michelle.  I helped her wrap all her presents and then we headed to Temple Square.  It had been a few years so it was a lot of fun to take the kids!  It was beautiful!
 The lights were bright!
 I Love this picture!

I was delighted to see the boys interest in the book of mormon stories...We had a little Christmas Surprise for them so it was exciting to see them so interested ...they did not want to leave...

It was a very nice ride home...I love the snow capped trees...

On Thursday, we got home just in time to make a little something for dinner and head over to Grandma and Grandpa Snow's home for dinner (we cannot wait for them to come home) We had a nice dinner with Michelle and her kids, Kyle and Mindy and their kids and Brooks Amy and Claire.  We had a good time!  I didn't bring my camera Thursday...On Friday we met again for breakfast.  The kids then did a little sleigh riding.  Thanks Marissa!  The girls ahd a blast!

We had a good day and the kids were exhausted Christmas Eve.  Although they each fell asleep at 5 (ahh)  We managed to wake them up to open new jammies, read the rest of our Christmas scriptures and get tucked in bed...
We had a very nice Christmas!

On Christmas day, Bekkah managed to stay asleep until 2 am!  She was so stinking excited and cute!  Before she came to us, she had slipped down stairs and noticed the trail and Santa toys...and she had to tell me everything at 2.  She absolutely loved her new doll!  Now she has two cuties named Emma and Elizabeth.  Luckily I got her to go back to bed. She finally woke up again and could hardly wait to wake her brothers.  It was so fun! I love their ages! We had a good time!

We are all excited for Legos this year!  We seriously spent ALL DAY in our jammies building things...it was so nice to just stay home and play...

And the kids are loving their new Book of Mormon Heros...I have only heard batmans name mentioned a few times this past week...It's so nice to hear the kids talking about the stripling warriors, Lamanites, Ammon protecting the sheep, King Benjamin teaching about Jesus, Missionaries, Nephi shocking his brothers. etc....

It was a very nice Christmas!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
