Zakk Holm

Zakkri Joshua Holm, 25, of Tropic UT, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend passed through this life on November 27, 2015 in Sonora, Mexico into the arms of his younger brother Miles, whom he loved so much. A beautiful reunion along with so many others. Zakk was born on July 5, 1990 in Indianapolis IN to Travis Lorenzo and KaraLee Darley Holm.
Zakk was loved by so many and will truly be missed. He had a huge zest for life and enjoying every adventure with his amazing friends and family. The smile he had was absolutely contagious. The second he walked into a room, no matter what was going on, everyone smiled with him. Zakk had many friends in different countries. Zakk and his brother Scout recently traveled to Europe for a month together with another amazing family/friends whom they loved so much. The quality time they had together will be one to treasure always.
Zakk, as a young boy, along with his brothers, taught by his father, learned the value of hard work. Zakk learned and worked hard in construction. He then went on to working with his teammates at Panguitch High School on the wrestling team. Zakk took 2nd in the State of Utah his senior year. He also learned many skills when he was in the North Dakota oilfields.
The highlight of Zakk's life was his service as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the Mexico, Mexico City West Mission during February 2010 through February 2012. He loved his mission and the many beautiful people and culture he was honored to be a part of. He had a love for Mexico and had many friends he has loved and kept in contact with there. Zakk knows and loves his Savior, Jesus Christ. He will truly be missed by all!
Zakk is survived by parents; siblings: Reggie Scout (Angela) Holm, William Levi (Chesilyn) Holm, Landon, Kandace, Shya and Tavi Holm; nephew Jaxton; and a baby niece on the way; grandparents: Adaire Holm, Lynn and Marcia Darley; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Zakk was preceded in death by his brother, Travis Miles Holm; grandpa, Carl Otto Holm; grandmothers: Sharon, Nyra, Ester, and Lucille; uncles: Gregory, Con, Terry, Edson, and Darrel Holm, and Brent Darley.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 12:00 Noon in the Tropic LDS Ward Chapel where friends may call from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Holm Family Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
