1st Day of School 2011

 The kids were pretty excited for the first day of school this morning...It was just Bekkah today but the boys were happy to be a part of it...

 Bekkah was so excited...She jumped right out of bed at 6:15, put her school clothes on, and was ready to go.  Daddy gave her a fathers blessing, we had a little breakfast and she could hardly wait for the next hour to pass...hopefully she remains this excited throughout the year:)  She Loved her teacher!  It was so fun to be there with her this first day.  She was delighted to find out that she knew a few more kids in this years class.  She knew so many kids.  It was like a reunion...all her friends were giving her hugs, asking her who her teacher was etc...It was definately time to start school again...and it felt so good to watch her go without looking back...she's growing up so fast!

 (it will be so fun to see what Kaden's like in Kindergarten...He's just so silly)

 Kaden also met with his new Kindergarten teacher this morning to do some testing...He did great!  She kept saying, "now what am I going to teach you?  You are so smart."  When he would get to something he didn't know, she'd say "well I am glad you don't know everything...what would I teach you if you did?"  I think she's going to be a great fit for Kaden.  He is SOOO excited!  Just 1 more week...
We will miss our sweet Bekkah this week...

Just a side note...I am adding to this post...

I get a call around 12:30...Caller ID says East Elementary...My heart sinks...Oh NO, What would they be calling for?  It's Bekkah calling to tell me that she lost another tooth...finally...Total Relief!  Yeah! This is a Huge step in the right direction from last year...We had all kinds of drama concerning a loose tooth more than once at school last year...I won't go into much detail other than she does not enjoy losing teeth especially at school...but I am so happy to see a positive first day so far...
