Mommy's Goal Revisited

I have a Goal...it always comes after every child...I know from past experience one of the big steps in accomplishing a goal is letting others know...So I am Letting You Know ...I am going to do it!...luckily I have a good friend who is willing to help me out:) If anyone else is interested in losing weight, I would love to include you in our little venture... For those of you who actually read my blog...Check out my Ticker...I am looking forward to the numbers Climbing...Here's to my 4th Big Weight loss goal(I say 4th because I have been here before)One of the fun things about having a baby is watching the weight come off almost instantly...I am already 23 pounds lighter than when I was pregnant...that's a little motivating...but I still don't fit into that pair of pants sitting in the back of my closet...not to mention the extra weight put on during those winter months before...Anyways...This time I am hoping going to keep it off! I know that I can do it! Wish me Luck:)

St. George and Tropic

We played a lot of this in St. George...
We did a little of this...

The kids got haircuts...

We played downtown St George...

On Friday, my nephew went through the temple.  I stayed with my sister to help watch all the kids...We went to Jumping Jacks...SO FUN!!!
We were practically the only ones there.  I felt good seeing the lady in charge enter with gloves and some sanitizing spray...It didn't feel nearly as germy as I was anticipating...

Elizabeth got a lot of attention this weekend...She was so good!  We also learned that she is an Excellent traveler...
I like this picture of Scout and Elizabeth...I cannot believe that he's going on a mission.  I remember babysitting him when he was a baby...

Sunday was Scouts "Farewell".  He did a great job! It was fun to spend time with Kara's family.
She's an amazing lady!
Good Luck Scout!  You are going to be a great Missionary!
Thanks for being such a good example for my kids!
 We had a great week!

Elizabeth's Baby Blessing Dress

I decided to travel with Ryan to St. George this last week while he went on to Las Vegas for a Conference.  It was so much fun! We stayed in Grandma and Grandpa's "vacation home".  It was a good getaway... I devoted a whole day to Finally finishing Elizabeths Blessing Dress...I have had the pattern for the past 3 months...I finally had enough time to do it...I decided that I am not good at following a pattern and I have to just do what looks good...I thought it turned out pretty cute despite my lack of know how in the sewing department...just don't look too close...I am excited to take some pictures of Ellie in it...
I added some lace and flowers...
and I made some cute little booties...they are still a little big and I need to make them a little smaller...we shall see if I get around to it...
It felt really good to be able to actually finish something...it's been a while

Halloween 2011

Halloween started last Monday with our annual Cousin Trunk-or-Treat.  It's so fun to see everyones costumes...

and Elizabeth was sleeping beauty...she slept through the whole party...
On Halloween, the kids and I went to Roosevelts Halloween Parade...The local businesses hand out candy...there were lots of people...

Elizabeth never actually wore this cute flower costume anywhere...but we thought it was Cute...someone gave it to us when Bekkah was a baby and we never did uses it then either...Oh well, maybe next year...
Our plan for Halloween was to carve pumpkins after school...when I went to carve them, they were too soft and I was fearful of what I would find on the inside...so we painted them this year...
we did manage to carve Dustins Little ones...do you love Dustins choice of patterns?  Transformer something and a little pirate...I know it's hard to tell, I guess you could say that carving is not my thing...
Halloween was lots of fun and Full of LOTS of candy...
